DNW Transportation – School Bus & Charter Service Policies

Thank you for making DNW Transportation (DNW) part of your journey. We are committed to providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services. The following policies apply to all DNW school bus and charter services.

Quotes & Pricing

• All quotes are estimates only, based on the initial information provided by the customer.
• Final charges may vary based on additional stops, late departures, added time, or other extra services such as wait time, tolls, ferries, parking fees, driver accommodations, or excessive cleaning
• Any changes to an accepted quote are subject to an administration fee of $50 per change.

Departure, Wait Time & Overtime

• Overtime and late departure charges apply in 15-minute increments at a rate of $20 per increment.

Highway 407 ETR Policy Charters

• Use of Highway 407 ETR is optional, not mandatory.
• Charter travel on the 407 ETR is subject to a $2.00 per kilometer fee, where applicable, plus any additional camera charges if not booked in advance. If the 407 ETR is used during travel, the driver will obtain the customer’s signature confirming acceptance of a $100.00 + HST charge, plus the per-kilometer fee. This amount will be charged to the credit card on file or added to the invoice. Alternatively, the client may contact Darchei Noam Ways to obtain email approval from the office before the bus is permitted to use the 407 ETR."

Payment Policies

1. All customers must provide a valid credit card to secure a booking.

• Pre-approved account customers are exempt.

3. All charters must be paid in full no later than 10 days prior to the departure date.

• Approved account customers will be invoiced.

5. If no alternative payment arrangement is made, the full cost of the charter will be charged to the credit card on file.
6. Late Payment Fee: Any outstanding balance not paid by the due date will be subject to a late payment fee of $50 per week, applied weekly until paid in full
7. All additional charges will be applied to the customer’s account or credit card provided at the time of booking.
8. Accepted methods of payment include:

• Visa, Mastercard, American Express
• Cheque (approved account customers only)

Cancellation Policies

Charter Cancellations

• Cancellations of confirmed bookings made less than 7 days before the scheduled trip will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total trip cost, unless a different policy is specified on the estimate.

Cleanliness, Damage & Conduct

• Open alcohol is strictly prohibited in all DNW vehicles.
• Customers are responsible for leaving the vehicle in a reasonable condition.
• An additional fee of $50 will apply for an excessive amount of garbage left behind.
• DNW reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee of up to $250.00 + HST for excessive mess, spills, or damage requiring professional cleaning or repairs.

Account Customers

• Account status is by pre-approval only and subject to ongoing review.
• DNW reserves the right to suspend services or revoke account privileges for non-payment or repeated late payments.

General Terms & Compliance

• DNW Transportation reserves the right to adjust routing, equipment, or schedules due to safety, weather, traffic, or operational requirements.
• All services are provided in accordance with Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations and applicable laws.
